Who I am, What I stand for
I am a lifelong Rogers Park resident with a deep and abiding love of Chicago's public schools. I am a CPS alum, a mother of a CPS alum, a former CPS teacher, and a former LSC member. I know that when we have healthy schools, we have healthy kids, healthy families, and healthy communities. That's why you'll find me walking the halls of our schools, standing with families at rallies, and showing up on the streets alongside our students when ICE activity threatens their safety—because protecting our kids doesn't stop at the classroom door.
Fully-Funded, Fully-Seen Schools
Fully-funded schools rooted in justice and equity, funded by taxing corporations and billionaires, not by cutting our classrooms. Schools that meet children as whole people, from universal pre-K starting at age 3 through wraparound family support. Schools we invest in together, as one system, because no neighborhood should have to compete for what every child deserves. Schools recognized and respected as the anchors of our communities they've always been. Empowering through education.
